Thanks for all your great clips Rick. I know how much goes into shooting
and editing. Not to mention all the years it takes to accumulate the
knowledge needed to be a great gardener. I am a Permaculture/Food Forest,
Aquaculture guy. In Permamculture I love using wood chip mulch. My last 10
yard load was scrub cedar. Delivered for free, it doesn’t get much better
than that.
this is amazing bro!!! totaly my style man!! i have 13 acres in the
mountains and been trying to make it a permaculture sustainable homestead
acreage with as many fruit and nut trees and super bio diverse and
intensive planting also planting in the forest all the different fruit and
nut trees its addictive but i believe if i dont plant and plant and plant
now that i bought acreage i would regret later at least now ill be able to
enjoy these blessings for years to come and the future will be amazing all
because i did this! keep inspiring people!! i also have a problem with
deer.
So many plants I’ve never heard of. Phonetic spelling here; shashandra
vine? mowan plant, the real tall thing that resembles a pale or colorless
delphinium? Oops I only remember those two. I’m very impressed with your
live and let live approach. Enjoy!
Awesome garden Rick , love all the randomness ; symmetrical rows and
everything measured out wouldn’t work for me. You must harvest way more
than you could use , what do you do with it all? Speaking of harvesting you
should harvest the deer too…..Tony
I love your ideal of caging the trees in the weed. I just started some
pawpaw seed. So hope to have some to put out next spring or fall. I really
enjoyed your video. And I have been looking for yacon tubers or plants.
They seen to be hard to find or expensive. How did you find yours?
Very beautiful garden you have got there. I am sure you are eagerly waiting
for the spring. Btw, your doubts are right. Kiwis in their natural habitats
are more like semi-ivy’s , curling on the tree trunks and the
drooping/hanging fruits all the way. so a pole, or rope tying works best
for them. If you plan for Poles, I suggest not using polished/smooth
surface. they need rough surface to take support.
Easiest option is to use a combination of willow sticks and ropes. does
wonderfully !! good luck for this year !!
What part of the country do you live in that you can grow
Kiwi…California?

When you say you’re “incubating” trees, what do you mean?
where are you located? im asking for weather reasons.

Holy Psalm91 :)
Lovely garden. Thank you for sharing.
Epic garden, it will be heavenly when all your perennials are heavily
bearing fruits year round.
no more vignettes please.

That’s a lot of accomplishment for just four summers!

Hi Rick. What a great garden. Lots of diversity. Like the fencing too. Nice
work. Cheers. Chris
How much land do you have? Where are you located?
Hey Rick ,when did you started to grow plants on your property?
24:35 is that a parasol mushroom to the right and you didn’t even comment
on it? One of the best mushrooms I like to pick.
