Do you use fertilizer just in the beginning stage? Or do you continue to
use fertilizer even once the plants are in the garden. Also does the
fertilizer do the same thing as compost tea? Thanks so much
Thank you so much for a very helpful video! What are the best vegetables
that I can grow year round indoors. I just bought a pepper plant and a
cucumber plant. I really don’t know what i’m doing, lol:-) We live in a
condo and I don’t want to put anything on the deck since the outdoors are
filled wth pesticides. Any advice would be truly truly appreciated.
Perhaps you could do a video for us strictly indoor gardeners. Thank you
and God Bless You.
sounds great with the new mic ray. I like the transplant tips.i am almost
ready for the red cup for peppers, the Rutgers, and the little gem. Glad
you feel better.
Hi , Can you tell me what you use in your compost tea? this year is my
first attempt at using compost tea I have been trying out a few diffrent
recipe’s my main ingredients have been 6 parts worm castings 1 part rock
dust and 1 part kelp with a dolop of molasas I let it bubble for around
36hrs b4 using and have been feeding every 5 or 6 days
My garden has problems with Root Knot Nematodes and I am considering a
treatment of Beneficial Nematodes to seek out and kill off the bad
organisms much like your mites. I’m also looking into other products such
as Oyster Shell to create a hostile environment and build up the calcium in
the soil. Yes, there are things to use that help the soil biology and
without killing the good things in nature.
I’m going to have to get myself some predatory mites because the organic
nature-friendly options I’ve tried so far have totally failed to take care
of the problem. Thanks Ray. Cheers!!
i’m a beginner and didn’t know how much to water seedlings without it
getting soggy, so i took a big sewing needle and poked holes at the bottom
of cheap plastic cups, and it worked well, they were even colored darkly to
repel the heat of midday sun. (they’re originally for arabic coffee but i
think they’re the same size as a shot glass, in this case shot plastic cup
haha). it functioned as a little germinating pot until i could find a store
near me that sold actual plant pots in small sizes.
I’m lucky to have the little spiders come naturally to kill the annoying
gnats.
(balcony pots)
I just hope they breed fast since the gnats do so fast >.<
I have quite a useful yet fun episode for you today. :)
