  1. What was that small tiny fruit he was picking from the vine in the
beginning? Was that an arctic kiwi?

It’s odd that governments are urging folks to get healthy, grow their own
food, etc then penalizing them when they do it. I can understand a
neighbor being upset with a farm-like look but the raised beds and flowers
    were striking,very beautiful.

    *vegetable garden*

Apparently, a vegetable garden is far versatile and practical than lawn.
Lawn consumes lots of water, demands almost equal attention but serves
only one single purpose “beauty”. We know it too well that *beauty is
    only skin deep.*

A vegetable garden provides healthy food, reduces carbon print of delivery
of food, …. besides healthy, economic, and environmental benefits, the
owners are also benefited a lot socially. What a wonderful front yard
    vegetable garden!

  6. I have never saw this video. And I am so glad that I ran across it. I grow
as well and my name is my channel and like these people in the video. I
never knew anything about Urban gardening and now I know a lot. please
check out some of my videos. Thanks for yours Possible

It’s sad because I’m fighting the HOA in my community…. We can’t have ANY
form of vegetable garden whatsoever. (I’m doing it anyway to look like
landscaping) My argument is why do they think they have the right to
control what I eat? And why do they nurture a yard of consumption and not a
yard of production? I understand if it’s messy looking, but I have seen
some absolutely gorgeous gardens (like in this vid) I’m just beside
    myself…. :-(

  11. This idea is not new. The Italian and Greek communities in Melbourne have
been planting in front yards since the 1950’s. It wasn’t always welcome,
but now it’s all the rage. I love this couple garden, its so beautiful.

  12. dang they obviously have NO GROUNDHOGS around their yard!!!!! :(

  13. Tim Brown says:

Beautiful! Perhaps the nicest front yard that I’ve seen…garden or not!

Great job. Nothing is more gratifying then eating the fruits and veggies of
    your hard labour.

This looks like an amazing garden. The one thing I’m really curious about
though is how road salt hasn’t seemed to damage the garden that’s
practically hanging over the curb. I live on a farm and I’ve seen road salt
damage to my crops which I’m sure are more tolerable than vegetables.

Beautiful idea but very unhealthy. Soil located so close to auto exhaust is
    contaminated.

And have warm coats in the winter from the raccoons!

botany, entomology, plant science, all the creatures from snow white fairy
tales will show up to your home ( which is a good thing ),the garden
cleanse the air, fragrance your surrounding, you save time from going
shopping, save gas, wear and tear on the vehicle, avoid the traffic and the
possibility of getting hit by drunk drivers, you get regular exercise from
gardening, the vitamin D from the sun, spend time with your wives and
girlfriends, children, dogs and cats, family and friends.Get to share what you
grew with relatives at harvest time. And the food you grew yourself seem to
alway taste better than the ones bought at a grocery store.A home garden is
positive all around, the way i see it.
